IMPORTANT NOTE:  the /console switch has been retired and replaced with /admin switch for connecting to the console session (via RDP).

HOW TO CREATE CONSOLE SESSION STARTUP ICONS

1. Open Notepad
2. type: "mstsc /console" (NOT 10/10/09 - Now changed to "mstsc /admin")
3. Save notepad file with whatever name you like.
4. Change the file's extension from "txt" to "cmd"
5. Now if double-clicked, the file will open a dos window, then the Remote Desktop Connection window will open.
6.  On "General" tab:
	"computer" field = ip address of VPS
	"user name" = login id
	"password" = leave this blank because the vps will ask for the password
	"domain" = the domain of the vps
7.  On "Display" tab:
	Adjust desktop size as deisred
8.  On "Local Resources" tab:
	select local devices desired
9.  On "experience" tab
	usually just select "themes" and "bitmap caching"
10. Click connect to connect to remote computer.
11. Windows will remember the parameters of your last connection, so next time you click the cmd file, you do notneed to enter the data again.
