Both authors definition and chart examples are identical and do not differ. Page one of Pring's article in fig.s 1 (reverse negative) and 2 (reverse positive) show the appearance of reverse divergences. Compare the examples provided by Star in Fig 1 and 2 (reverse positive ) and 4 and 5 (reverse negative). Star's definition: "...seek higher PRICE lows accompanied by lower INDICATOR values during up moves and lower PRICE

highs accompanied by higher INDICATOR values during down moves.", page two of the article.

Pring's definition under fig. 2 for RND is: "The price makes its high at point A, then makes a lower (price) high at point B, but the oscillator makes a higher high at B." Pring defines reverse positive divergence in fig. 3. Both authors definition describe the same event and are in agreement with A. Cardwell's article and definition of this divergence.

I do not want anyone to be left with the impression that these two articles are inconsistent with each other. On the contrary they are absolutely consistent and present identical chart examples of each RD.
